AJ10046 GLASS TUBE(ROD)

Glass tube 300 x13 mm length x diam. with both ends closed and rounded, for producing electrostatic charge by rubbing.

Glass Tube (ROD)
AJ10047 GOLD LEAF ELECTROSCOPE

Rectangular case and polythene insulated lid with finger flap to facilitate removal. Case fitted with 4mm. earthing socket is tapped in base to take support rod. Front glass window slides up to allow insertion of ionising material in chamber and gold leaf support plate and aluminium scale with 6 radial notches of 10o are provided, with one pair of leaves.

GOLD LEAF ELECTROSCOPE
AJ10049 ICE PAILS, FARADAY

Aluminium, set of four nesting cylinders, largest of size 125 x 140 mm diam x ht. The smaller pails are fitted with insulated feet.

Ice Pails, Faraday
AJ10050 VAN DE GRAAF GENERATOR

Hand operated on base. The generator is self exiting and charge separation occurs. A metal sphere surrounds the upper pulley assembly and charge accumulates on the sphere, which is insulated by a plastic column supporting the pulley assembly. The charge builds up untill electrical breakdown of air surrounding the sphere occurs. Supplied with a discharging sphere.

VAN DE GRAAF GENERATOR
AJ10051 VAN DE GRAAF GENERATOR(Motor Driven)

The charge is transferred from generator to the metallic dome, surrounding the upper pulley, with the help of the motor driven rubber belt and two metallic combs. To reach high voltages, the lower portion of the sphere is smoothly inturned.

VAN DE GRAAF GENERATOR(Motor Driven)

The machine is fitted on base and other insulating parts are made of perspex, metal dome and the discharge sphere are polished.

Accessory Set

Head of Hair, brush of artificial hair may be fixed in 4 mm socket in top of upper dome of generator - Faraday pail-Neon Bulb-vibrating column to stimulate ions in motion in transparent plastic container and one spare belt.
